Soil Testing &
Amendment

The root of the problem

Trees don't generally need a huge amount of intervention, but where urban soils have been severely damaged by things like compaction, contamination and over-fertilization, soils can be so compromised that they don't meet a tree's basic needs. This is often expressed by low vigor, off-color foliage and sometimes decline.

We use local agricultural extensions for comprehensive soil testing and recommendations, and we source amendments that are certified by the Organic Materials Review Institute.
