Vines

Vines are quite unlike other types of plants. They can grow 10 feet a year, becoming wooly beasts in a single season. But incredible structural forms can be revealed and flowering can be enhanced with the right kind and frequency of pruning. Below left, two of us begin a repel to prune a wooly vine that hasn't been pruned for a couple years. Below middle and below right show the vine just after pruning after leafing out.
